Kristoffer Olsen, Chairman (Norwegian)
Mr. Olsen has a background in strategic consulting (McKinsey & Co.) and fashion. Between 1992 and 1998 he was the CFO and later the ECO of Scandinavian Retail Group ASA / Voice of Europe. Senior partner in Jotunfjell Partners AS, investments and advisory. Mr. Olsen holds a BA from the Warton School as well as a MBA from INSEAD.
Hans Kristian Melbye, (Norwegian)
Mr. Melbye started his career as an auditor, working for seven years with Coopers & Lybrand. In 1992 he joined the fashion retailer Voice of Europe, first as Controller ant then as Managing Director. Senior partner in Jotunjell Partners AS, investments and advisory. Mr. Melbye holds a BA from the Norwegian School of Management.
Olaf B. Andersen, developer, retired (Norwegian), holds a Master degree from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, and has played a major role in developing the composite piping concept. In his previous position as Chief Engineer Material Technology at Statoil AS, he has consistently worked to make the composite pipe commercial. He is a key authority on materials in Norway and, in addition, within the international oil and gas industry with a vast and varied background within use of the materials. Being a key industry player and central decision maker, he will, as a board member, be able to provide extraordinary contacts into the different projects, with customers and the composite environment as a whole. He will also have the opportunity to directly assist the management at important sales meetings.
Joakim Olsson, Co-founder (Swedish), holds a degree in International Business Administration and Economics/(Civilekonom) from the Gothenburg School of Economics and has extensive experience as a management consultant, working for McKinsey & Company (1983-1990) in Scandinavia and France. As an engagement manager he took part in diagnosing significant strategic, organisational and operational improvement opportunities covering the shipping and offshore industry, financial institutions, and manufacturing. Following his career in McKinsey he assumed the position as Project Director of Norsk Vekst AS, a Norwegian venture capital firm established in 1990. He was responsible for developing the company’s strategy and he evaluated and initiated new businesses, specifically within the offshore industry.
Thomas A. Kielland, CEO (Norwegian)
Mr. Kielland has a background from commercial banking, and has for the past 12 years worked as a managment consultant for various industries. He is an associate partner to Jotunfjell Partners. Mr. Kielland holds a finance degree from Boston University.
